Our Beliefs
We are called to love God and Love people.
We affirm that God loves everyone and each human is made in His image. Hence, everyone is welcome to our
Gathering, and we believe that each of us is equipped with gifts to use as part of our community. We feel called to meet people where they are and encourage them to grow and transform as they come to know God. We know God is with us, and so we fear no evil.
We have a high view of scripture.
We believe in the value of practicing weekly communion open to our entire community. We believe in the power of baptism for the remission of sins as an indication of one’s decision to follow Christ (in reenacting the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ).
We are committed to growing spiritually and learning about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit through our experiences and the study of scripture. We value the creeds from those who have come before us as expressions of the core Christian beliefs.
Our Ministers
We believe in the priesthood of all believers (1 Peter 2:4-10) and yet God has blessed us with a team of leaders both paid and volunteer who serve our congregation
